September 2026 Round Up

September was a month of trying new things, and it was brilliant to see so many of them pay off.
Here’s what I’ve been up to.

The 6 Figure Bookkeeper

Their goal on social media is simple: reach new bookkeepers and bring them into The Bookkeepers’ Collective. So that’s what every reel is built around.

In September, I kept pushing what’s been working. Videos where Jo talks through pricing and advisory frameworks on a whiteboard were the most saved content on Instagram for the second month running, and one post, “How to charge a fixed rate”, reached over 1,400 views and 15 saves.
Pricing was the strongest topic of the month too, which was perfect timing with Pricing Collection Live just around the corner.

I also brought trial reels into the rotation. These push content out to people who don’t follow the account yet, which is exactly the audience we want to reach.
In September, 32 trial reels brought in nearly 5,000 extra views without filming a single extra video.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been digging into all of this data ahead of our next content day in October, so every reel we film is built around what’s actually bringing new people towards the Collective.

Southwest Woodburners

September was another huge month on Facebook, with the page growing by over 2,100 followers and taking them to a total of more than 5,200. Their content was viewed over 1.3 million times across the month, all from organic content.

During September, Southwest Woodburners organically gained over 2000 new followers on Facebook

Instagram also saw a big jump, gaining 52 new followers and over 250 profile visits from posts alone. Even better, all of this is turning into real work, with multiple messages coming in every week from people wanting to book an installation.

Welcoming Back Cocowai Cashmere

At the end of the month, I was thrilled to welcome back Cocowai Cashmere, a luxury cashmere business in Sandbanks with every piece handcrafted by friends in Nepal.
After a break from social media, we’re starting fresh with a more selective approach: fewer posts, each one chosen to show off the quality and story behind the brand.

What I Learned

Stick with what's working.
It’s tempting to keep trying new things every month, but September showed the value of doubling down. By focusing on the formats and topics that were already performing, the content got sharper, and the results followed.

Coming Up In October

I’ve got another content day with The 6 Figure Bookkeeper, Pricing Collection Live is launching, Cocowai is back up and running, and I’m in the process of signing a new client, so watch this space.
